ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

4 May, 1948:—Ordered, That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 112, the Committee of Public Accounts be appointed; that, notwithstanding anything contained in the said Standing Order, the Committee consist of fourteen members, and the quorum be five; and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection:


That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records;


That the Appropriation Accounts, with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1947, be referred to the Committee for examination and report.


5 May, 1948:—Committee accordingly nominated, consisting of Deputies Blaney, Brady, Briscoe, Coburn, J. J. Collins, Commons, Dockrell, Gilbride, Kitt, C. Lehane, MacEntee, M. O’Sullivan, Pattison and Sheldon.


9 July, 1948:—Deputy C. Lehane discharged at his own request and Deputy Fitzpatrick appointed in his stead.


24 November, 1948:—Deputy Mrs. Crowley appointed in place of Deputy Blaney, deceased.
