IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE SPEISIALTA.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Senators Bigger, D. Burke, Loughman, McCartan, McCrea and S. O’Farrell.

3. It was announced that the Chairman was unavoidably absent.

Senator McCrea moved:

“That Senator O’Farrell act as Chairman in the absence of Senator Fitzsimons.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Senator O’Farrell took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee resumed consideration of the Bill.

Section 1.

Question again proposed:—“That the section stand part of the Bill.”

Debate ensued.

Further consideration of the Bill adjourned.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1.30 p.m. until 11.30 a.m. on the next sitting day of the Seanad.
