6th July, 1949:—That the Fisheries (Statute Law Revision) Bill, 1949, be referred to a Special Committee consisting of eleven Senators to be nominated by the Committee of Selection; and that the quorum of the Committee be three.

13th July, 1949:—Committee accordingly nominated consisting of Senators James Crosbie, Seán Goulding, Frederick Hawkins, Thomas V. Honan, Frank Loughman, Patrick McCartan, James J. McCrea, Seamus O’Farrell, William B. Stanford, Edmund T. Sweetman and Patrick Woulfe.
