1. The Joint Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

Present: Ceann Comhairle (Chairman); Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Local Government and Public Health, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Public Health (Deputy Childers); Deputies B. Brady, Cogan, Everett, McCann, McCarthy and O’Connor; Senators Counihan, Duffy, Hayes, Hearne, Magennis and Kingsmill Moore.

3. The Joint Committee deliberated.
