ORDERS OF REFERENCE.14 June, 1944:—Ordered, That, in pursuance of S.O. 112, the Committee of Public Accounts be appointed; and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection; Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records; Ordered, That the Appropriation Accounts, together with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General for the year ended 31st March, 1943, be referred to the Committee of Public Accounts for examination and report. 20 June, 1944:—Ordered, That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Order No. 112, the Committee of Public Accounts, appointed by Order of the Dáil of 14th June, consist of fourteen members and that the quorum be five. 28 June, 1944:—Committee accordingly nominated consisting of Deputies B. Brady, S. Brady, Breen, Briscoe, Cogan, Corry, Cosgrave, Dillon, M. E. Dockrell, Loughman, O’Loghlen McEoin, M. O’Sullivan and Pattison. 28 September, 1944:—Deputies Breen, Corry and O’Loghlen discharged at their own request and Deputies Breslin, Gorry and Lydon appointed in their stead. |
