ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

24th March, 1943:—Resolved: That it is desirable that a Conference be held between members of the Dáil and the Seanad upon Amendments 1 and 2 made by the Seanad to the Intoxicating Liquor Bill, 1942, to which the Dáil made amendments with which the Seanad has disagreed; that seven Deputies represent the Dáil at the proposed Conference.

25th March, 1943:—Ordered: That Deputies Bennett, Breathnach, Byrne (Junior), P. J. Fogarty, Linehan, McCann and Norton represent the Dáil at the proposed Conference with representatives of the Seanad on the Intoxicating Liquor Bill, 1942

31st March, 1943:—Resolved: That the Seanad concurs with the Dáil in its Resolution communicated to the Seanad on the 24th day of March, 1943, that it is desirable that a Conference be held between members of the Dáil and the Seanad upon Amendments 1 and 2 made by the Seanad to the Intoxicating Liquor Bill, 1942, to which the Dáil made amendments with which the Seanad has disagreed.

31st March, 1943:—Ordered: That the nomination of seven Senators to represent the Seanad on the Conference be referred to the Committee of Selection.

31st March, 1943:—Senators nominated to represent the Seanad at the Conference:— Senators Mrs. Concannon, Conlon, Crosbie, Foran, Goulding, M. Hayes and O’Dwyer.
