Vote 7.—Old Age Pensions.—The excess is due to the fact that the amount provided in the estimate to cover contingencies proved inadequate.

Vote 56.—Gaeltacht Services.—The excess arises mainly on subhead D. 8.—Toy Industry, and is due to an account coming in course of payment which it had not been anticipated would mature for payment in the year.

The Committee sees no objection to the sums as set out above being provided by excess votes.
