THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 6adh Meitheamh, 1940.

Thursday, 6th June, 1940.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Cole, Hogan, Hughes, Keyes, McMenamin, D. O’Briain, O’Rourke and R. Walsh.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1938-39 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Agriculture, Fisheries, Export Bounties and Subsidies.

4. Mr. D. Twomey (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Mr. G. P. S. Hogan, Mr. T. S. C. Dagg (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1.20 p.m. till Thursday next.
