ORDERS OF REFERENCE.22 February, 1939:—Ordered, That the Committee of Public Accounts to be appointed in pursuance of Standing Order 109 at the beginning of the financial year 1939-1940 be, notwithstanding the said Standing Order, now appointed; and that the members of the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection; Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records; Ordered, That the Appropriation Accounts, together with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1938, be referred to the Committee of Public Accounts for examination and report. 23 February, 1939:—Committee accordingly nominated consisting of Deputies Benson, Brasier, Childers, Cole, Dillon, Hogan, Keyes, McMenamin, D. O Briain, O’Loghlen, O’Rourke and Walsh. 9 March, 1939:—Deputy Childers was discharged and Deputy B. Brady appointed in his stead. |
