THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Wednesday, 12 May, 1937.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Beegan, T. Crowley, Goulding, Haslett, Keyes, McMenamin and Smith.


3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1935-36 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Local Government and Public Health, General Register Office, Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Technical Instruction, Science and Art, Reformatory and Industrial Schools.


4. Mr. J. Hurson (Secretary, Local Government and Public Health), Mr. T. J. Morrissey (Assistant-Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. F. O’Duffy (Assistant-Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond, and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.


5. The Committee adjourned at 1.40 p.m. till Wednesday next.
