ORDERS OF REFERENCE.

7th October, 1937.—Ordered: That the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) Bill, 1937, be referred to a Special Committee consisting of fifteen Deputies;

That the following Deputies be appointed to serve on the Committee:—

The President of the Executive Council; the Minister for Industry and Commerce; the Minister for Agriculture; the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance; Deputies Anthony, Costello, Dillon, Fitzgerald-Kenney, Kissane, McGilligan, Moore, Norton, W. O’Brien, J. M. O’Sullivan and Smith.

That the quorum of the Committee be seven;

That the first meeting of the Committee be held on Thursday, 14th October; and

That the Committee report back to the Dáil by Wednesday, 10th November.

10th November, 1937.—Ordered: That the period for reporting back be extended to Wednesday, 1st December.
