APPENDIX XIII.

TELEPHONE KIOSKS IN PROVINCIAL TOWNS.

Department of Posts and Telegraphs,

Dublin,

29th May, 1937.

Clerk to the Committee of Public Accounts.

There was, you will recollect, some discussion at the P.A.C. about telephone kiosks in the Provinces, and I find that what I stated, viz., that we had kiosks in Cork, Limerick, Waterford, and were extending to other towns, is correct.

We have at the moment seven in Cork, and one each in Limerick, Waterford, Galway, and Dundalk. We are about to erect another at Galway, and one at Sligo, Wexford, and Kilkenny. And we are considering additional kiosks at Cork and Limerick, and also kiosks at Drogheda, Mullingar, Killarney, Bray, Ennis and Tralee.
