PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 29 Bealtaine, 1935.

Wednesday, 29 May, 1935.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Fitzgerald (in the Chair), Deputies McMenamin, P. S. Murphy and Smith.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1933-34 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Primary Education, Stationery and Printing, Valuation and Boundary Survey, Ordnance Survey, Forestry, Land Commission, External Affairs, League of Nations, Office of Public Works and Buildings and Haulbowline Dockyard.

4. Mr. T. J. Morrissey (Assistant Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. S. B. O Faoilleacháin (Controller Stationery Office), Mr. J. Herlihy (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. M. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. Seán Murphy (Assistant-Secretary, Department of External Affairs), Mr. C. S. Almond (Department of Finance), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg (Department of Finance), Mr. J. L. Lynd (Department of Finance), Mr. P. Kent (Commissioner of Public Works) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. till Wednesday next.
