Committee Reports::Report No. 04 - Restaurant's audited account of Income and Expenditure for 1930::26 February, 1931::Report

REPORT.

An audited account of Income and Expenditure for the year 1930 is attached. It shows a surplus of £53 9s. 9d., a reduced figure as compared with last year’s. This result was due to a diminution of business caused by the fact that the Dáil sat on ten days, and the Seanad on eleven days, less than in the year 1929. A comparison, with the previous year, of the number of meals served, shows the following result:—

Year

No. of Lunches

No. of Teas

1929

11,299

7,871

1930

9,272

7,526

In the circumstances it is not unsatisfactory to record the surplus mentioned as the result of the year’s trading.
