From the 23rd July, 1928, the date of passing of the Courts of Justice Act, 1928, (No. 15 of 1928), under which power was given to admit additional evidence to the end of 1929, additional evidence was admitted in 12 Cases. 7. On the average, two Judges sitting together dispose of about 4 Appeals per day. 8. The average length of the Transcript of Stenographer’s Notes is about 130 folios; 2d. per folio (i.e., about £1 in all on an average) is charged by the State for supplying copies of these Notes. |
