REPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE METHODIST CHURCH IN IRELAND BILL, 1928.

1. The Joint Committee was constituted as follows:—Senator J.G. Douglas, Chairman; Deputies P.J. Little, T. J. Murphy and J. J. Cole; Senators B. Haughton, P. J. Brady and T. Linehan.


2. The Joint Committee considered the Bill on Thursday, the 3rd May, 1928.


3. The Joint Committee report that they have examined the Preamble of the Bill and that the allegations therein contained have been proved to their satisfaction, that they have gone through the Bill and have made amendments thereunto.


4. In considering the Bill the Joint Committee had before them a report on the Bill from the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland. The manner in which the recommendation contained in the said report has been dealt with is shown in the Appendix.
