PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Wednesday, 7th March, 1928.

1. The Committee met at 11.20 a.m. in Committee Room No. 106.


2. The following members were present:—


The Ceann Comhairle (in the Chair); Deputies Aiken, Boland, Cooper, Duggan, P. S. Doyle, MacEntee, O’Donovan, O’Hanlon and O’Sullivan.


The Leas-Cheann Comhairle also attended the meeting.


3. In the Matter of James Larkin.


The Resolution of the Dáil of Friday, 2nd March, 1928, was taken into consideration.


The Committee deliberated.


Ordered: That Lorcan G. Sherlock, Esq., LL.D., Under Sheriff for the City of Dublin, be requested to attend before the Committee at a meeting at 10 a.m. on to-morrow (Thursday), March 8th, for examination within the terms of reference of the Committee, and, particularly, with regard to the identity of the James Larkin who was nominated as a candidate for the Borough Constituency of Dublin North at the General Election of September, 1927 [Deputy O’Sullivan].


9. The Committee adjourned at 12.50 p.m. until 10 a.m. to-morrow morning.
