PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 6th December, 1928.

1. The Committee met at 3 p.m.

2. Present: Deputies S. Brady, F. H. Crowley, E. Doherty, O. G. Esmonde, T. Hennessy, M. Jordan, J. S. Myles, D. G. O’Mahony and F. C. Ward.

3. Motion made (Deputy Myles):

“That Deputy Esmonde be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Deputy Esmonde took the Chair.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. Resolved:—That the Local Authorities to which the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) Act, 1926 applies, be invited to submit in writing any representations within the terms of reference which they wished to make.

6. The Committee adjourned at 5 p.m. to a date, early in February, to be fixed by the Chairman.
