REPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE DUBLIN UNITED TRAMWAYS (LUCAN ELECTRIC RAILWAYS) BILL, 1927.

1. The Joint Committee was constituted as follows:—

Deputy W. E. Thrift, Chairman; Deputies M. Hennessy, R. Corish and Connor Hogan; Senators W. Barrington, T. Toal and P. W. Kenny.

2. The Joint Committee considered the Bill on Thursday, 10th March; Tuesday, 15th March; and Wednesday, 23rd March, 1927.

3. The Joint Committee report that they have examined the Preamble of the Bill and that the allegations therein contained have been proved to their satisfaction, and that they have gone through the Bill and have made amendments thereunto.

4. In considering the Bill the Joint Committee had before them reports on the Bill from the Department of Finance and the Department of Industry and Commerce, respectively. The manner in which the recommendations of the said Departments have been dealt with is shown in Appendix A and Appendix B, respectively.
