REPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE LIMERICK HARBOUR BILL, 1926 IN REGARD TO CERTAIN AMENDMENTS REFERRED TO THE JOINT COMMITTEE FOR CONSIDERATION.

1. The amendments tabled on the Fourth Stage of the Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926, were ordered by Dáil Eireann on the 9th June, 1926, to be referred to the former Joint Committee on the Bill for consideration and report:—


2. The Joint Committee held a sitting on Wednesday, the 16th June, 1926.


3. The following members of the Joint Committee were present:—


Deputy Bryan R. Cooper, Chairman; Deputies J. Conlan, W, Davin, and P. Leonard; Senators Sir E. Bellingham J. C. Counihan and T. Foran.


4. The Joint Committee report that they have considered the amendments and recommend that amendments 1 and 3 be adopted and that amendment 2 be adopted subject to the deletion in Subsection (1), line 1, of the word “may” and the substitution therefor of the word “shall.”
