PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 11th March, 1926.

1. The Joint Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. The following members were present:—Deputies W. E. Thrift, P. S. Doyle, C. Hogan and the Minister for Industry and Commerce; Senators S. L. Brown, Sir J. Keane and B. O’Rourke.

3. Deputy Thrift moved:—

“That Senator Brown be Chairman of the Joint Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Senator Brown took the Chair.

4. Deputy Thrift moved:—

“That the quorum of the Joint Committee be five.”

Question put and agreed to.

5. The Joint Committee deliberated.

6. The Joint Committee adjourned at 12.20 p.m. until 3 p.m. 18th March.
