DAIL EIREANN.ORDERS OF REFERENCE.29th May, 1925:—Ordered, That the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, be referred to a Special Committee of six Deputies to be nominated by the Committee of Selection, and that the first meeting of the Special Committee be held on the 12th June (Deputy Johnson). 9th June, 1925:—Ordered, That the Order of the Dáil of the 29th May, 1925, referring the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, to a Special Committee be discharged (Minister for Industry and Commerce); Resolved, That it is expedient that a Joint Committee, consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad, with power to send for persons, papers, and records, be set up for the purpose of considering and making recommendations in regard to the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925 (Minister for Industry and Commerce). Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Seanad to communicate this Resolution and to desire their concurrence. 12th June, 1925:—Message from the Seanad that the Seanad concurs with the Dáil in its resolution passed on the 9th instant relative to the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925: Ordered, That the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, be referred to a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad, with power to send for persons, papers, and records, for the purpose of considering and making recommendations in regard to the Bill (Minister for Industry and Commerce). Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Seanad acquainting them accordingly. SEANAD EIREANN.ORDERS OF REFERENCE.11th June, 1925:—Message from the Dáil—Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925 —That the Dáil has passed the following Resolution, in which the concurrence of the Seanad is desired:—That it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad, with power to send for persons, papers, and records, be set up for the purpose of considering and making recommendations in regard to the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925; Resolved, That the Seanad do concur with the Dáil in this resolution and in its suggestion for the appointment of a Joint Committee, That the Committee of Selection be empowered to nominate seven members to this Joint Committee and that a Message be sent to the Dáil to acquaint them accordingly (Senator J. G. Douglas). 25th June, 1925:—Senators appointed to serve on the Joint Committee on the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925:—W. Barrington, S. L. Brown, T. Foran, Sir J. Keane, E. MacLysaght, M. O’Dea and W. B. Yeats. 24th February, 1926:—Following upon the retirement from office at a triennial election of Senators S. L. Brown, E. MacLysaght, and M. O’Dea and the subsequent election of Mr. S. L. Brown to fill a casual vacancy in the Seanad, Senators S. L. Brown, Sir John P. Griffith and B.
