REPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE DUNDALK HARBOUR AND PORT BILL, 1924.

1. The Joint Committee was constituted as follows:—


Senator Arthur Jackson, Chairman; Deputies General Mulcahy, R. Corish and Connor Hogan; Senators T. Linehan, T. Farren, and G. Nesbitt.


2. The Joint Committee considered the Bill on Tuesday the 10th March, 1925, and also on Thursday the 12th March, 1925.


3. The Joint Committee report that they have examined the Preamble of the Bill and that the allegation’s therein contained have been proved to their satisfaction, and that they have gone through the Bill and have made amendments thereunto.


4. In considering the Bill the Joint Committee had before them reports on the Bill from the Department of Industry and Commerce and the Department of Fisheries. The manner in which the recommendations of the said Departments have been dealt with is shown in Appendix (A) and Appendix (B), respectively.
