Rt. Hon. Earl Mayo, P.C.,

Palmerstown House,

Straffan, Co. Kildare.

My Lord,

With reference to the meeting of the Seanad Committee on the 21st March last. I regret that this Company, although desirous of meeting in every way the requests put forward, are sorry that the accommodation available at Euston is quite inadequate for the purpose of Customs examination at that Station, and therefore, it would be quite impossible to carry out the proposals made. Neither are they able to adopt the proposals for the distinctive labelling of the luggage.

I very much regret therefore that this Company is not in a position to afford the Committee any assistance in the matter.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd.) H. W. EDE.
