SEANAD EIREANN.

Tuarasgabháil ón gCoiste ar Bhuan-Orduithe.

(Report of Committee on Standing Orders.)

This Committee was appointed by resolution of the Seanad adopted on the 11th December, 1922, in the following terms:—

(a) “That a Committee be appointed to draw up Standing Orders for Seanad Eireann.

(b) “That the Committee appointed be composed as follows:—Lord Glenavy, Sir John Keane, James G. Douglas, James Moran, Sir T. Grattan Esmonde, Patrick W. Kenny, James Perry Goodbody, John Thomas O’Farrell, Mrs. Wyse Power.”

In pursuance of this resolution, the Committee met on Wednesday, December 13th, the following being present, viz.:— Lord Glenavy, James G. Douglas, Sir T. Grattan Esmonde, Patrick W. Kenny, John T. O’Farrell. A further meeting was held on Thursday, December 14th. It was unanimously decided to recommend the appended Draft Standing Orders to the Seanad.
